Essential oils for you and your aging pet

Are you seeing signs that your pet is entering the end-of-life stage? End-of-life care for your pet is challenging for you. It takes time, attention and money. Jan Jeremias has a book on using essential oils on your pet. They are beneficial to you as well!

Pets are more sensitive to additives and chemicals than people. In addition, poor-quality essential oils may contain ingredients that could render the oil ineffective or dangerous.
Pure high quality essential oils that contain the appropriate concentration of natural chemicals will ensure that the oils are effective for your pet’s needs and that the oils will continue to provide health benefits long term. This is especially important if you are interested in using essential oils preventatively or if your pet is suffering from a chronic ailment. We only recommend and refer to 100% pure therapeutic-grade essential oils in this ebook.

Oils to avoid: Cassia, Cinnamon, Clove, Melaleuca, Oregano, Thyme, and Black Pepper.
These oils are not appropriate or recommended for Dogs and Cats.

Jan C. Jeremias, trained as a clinical research scientist, with a Masters Degree in Immunology and Infectious Disease and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine. She was a researcher for over 20 years and was introduced to essential oils through her pets. Jan has been using essential oils for over 15 years for herself, family, friends, dogs, and cats. Jan met Dr. Frezzo, a veterinarian, with over 21 years of experience in small animal medicine, at a local yoga studio in New Jersey. Dr. Frezzo knew Jan had been working with essential oils for a number of years and wanted something to help her children stay more healthy. Dr. Frezzo began using essential oils for herself and her family. After seeing such positive changes in her family’s health, Dr. Frezzo began helping friends and clients improve their health and the health of their pets.
Jan and Dr. Frezzo began working closely together and over time, they decided that dog and cat owners needed a practical, clear, and easy-to-use guide for using essential oils on their pets and co-authored the top-selling book SpOIL Your Pet: A Practical Guide to Using Essential Oils in Dogs and Cats.
